The Academy Award show wrap-up
The 79th Annual Academy Awards was a subdued affair with nothing too memorable, no real stand outs. The entire show seemed to blend together, plenty of beautiful people and speeches, but not much else.

It's "Last Orders" -- don't get left behind
The bell has rung and it's last orders for Bermondsey butcher Jack Dodds in this film version of British novelist Graham Swift's Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name. A great ensemble film, "Last Orders" is distinguished for its story of friendship, with all its highs and lows, certainly, but it is the top-notch cast that makes it really special.

"Greenfingers" reminds us why Brit comedies must die
To briefly summarize, the story involves hardened criminals getting hooked on gardening and pretty flowers. They find friendship and redemption in the last place they expect to find it. If that's not enough to rev up your gag reflex, don't worry, the movie will.
