MPD's Harbor Patrol is city's first line of defense in a changing world
If you haven't heard much about the MPD Harbor Patrol, that just means they're doing a good job. With three boats and 12 officers, they protect 48 miles east of the coast. Along with the Department of Homeland Security, they keep the city safe from much bigger threats.
