OnMedia: By the end, almost half of us watched Favre's return
The ratings prove that it's hard to exaggerate how big a deal Brett Favre's Sunday afternoon return to Lambeau really was. And, "Southland" lives again on TNT.

Twitter is no place for twits
When do your employees stop becoming representatives of your company and start becoming private citizens? When are they officially off the clock? When they walk out the door at the end of the work day, are they private citizens who are no longer held to the same standards of behavior? When they get home, are they no longer considered to be on the job?

Packers vs. Cardinals: Things to watch tonight
We all know the National Football League exhibition season is meaningless. Heck, the Lions were unbeaten in practice games last year and went 0-16 when the games counted. The third preseason game, though, which the Packers will play against Arizona tonight at University of Phoenix Stadium, is the most meaningful of the meaningless. The starters will play into the second half and we'll find out of the Packers can maintain the momentum from two impressive (but still meaningless) victories.

Of course Milwaukee TV went live with Favre
If I was back in my old newspaper job, I'd have been taking phone calls over the past two days from viewers of the network newscasts on Channels 4, 12 and 58, complaining about how their daily habit was disrupted by live coverage of Brett Favre's first public appearance as a Viking. There are only two big news stories, as far as Milwaukee TV is concerned, the weather and the Green Bay Packers.

A Case Of The Willies
Thursday July 2nd, 2009 - Lake Villa, IL   I was in a pretty good space most of the day until I read a very disturbing article in USA Today that really set my head to spinning. It was in the sports section and featured former Green Bay Packer Willie Davis and talked about how many forme...
