New batch of Blue Notes contains some classics
I've fallen slightly behind, but recently checked out the latest batch, which arrived in late September. I was thrilled to find some of my favorites among them.

Rediscovered live Green set percolates with funk
Spinning the new live disc by late, great jazz guitarist Grant Green, one can't help but wonder why this swingin' and violently funky set, recorded in Detroit in 1971, was never issued. Never mind why, it's here now!
