OnMilwaukee.com readers picked Culver's as their favorite local fast food joint. Culver's is a chain that's based in Prairie du Sac, Wis. The first hamburger-and-ice-cream eatery opened in 1984 in Sauk City, and today, there are 390 Culver's restaurants all over the country.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries is searching for a location in the Third Ward. Or, that's the rumor. Sources say it could occupy a space at 309 N. Water St., most recently Hers, a women's boutique that closed in February.

Jimmy John's is so freakin' fast
At best, I could allot 10 minutes to a quick bite, which is almost impossible given the time it takes to get one's food, even at a fast food joint. And then I remembered that Jimmy John's was more or less on the way.
