With a new CD in the can, Anthony happy to come home
Although she's not a native, many Brew City music fans had come to feel like Kansas City-born Michelle Anthony was ours. So, although we wished her well, we couldn't help be feel a bit of loss when the talented alt.country singer left for Austin last year. Now, she's back with a slew of new songs!

Wilco's Bennett helps West of Rome find its sound
Milwaukee bands are getting awfully friendly with Jay Bennett, formerly of Wilco. Last year, Michelle Anthony released her Bennett-produced disc, and now her friends West of Rome follow suit, even though their disc was recorded earlier.

Dustworks EP arrives after careful germination
You may have read about alt.country rockers Dustworks here last year or and about the EP they were preparing to release. Well, sometimes good things need time to properly germinate and it has taken a little longer than expected, but "Atlas" is finally here.

Moonshine Sway hopes debut CD will open some ears
Moonshine Sway has been a fixture on the club scene for a little more than a year, and things are now coming together for the alt.country rockers. Last month, the quartet launched its debut CD, "Seven Years."
