LOW-B rediscovers its spark for Shank reunion gig
LOW-B, fronted by John Bitenc, with his brother Dan on bass, Jeff Benske on guitar and Matt Liban on drums possessed enough skill and enough spark that when it fired up its alt.country engine, it could knock you on your keister if you weren't careful. The band reunites for a Friday, Sept. 4 gig with The Carolinas at Shank Hall.

Wooldridges release first new studio CD in 10 years
When local musician Scott Wooldridge left town for Minneapolis in 1998, his brother Brian stayed here. And although the Wooldridge Brothers kept writing, recording and gigging, things definitely slowed down a bit for the band. Now, the duo releases, "Days Went Around," its first studio disc in 10 years.
