Clutch play marked clinchers in 1957, '82
Both the 1957 Braves and '82 Brewers clinched playoff berths in dramatic fashion. Hank Aaron and Robin Yount were hitting heroes, while Lew Burdette and Don Sutton handled the pitching.

Acquiring Sutton was smart move for '82 Brewers
With a month left in the 1982 season, Brewers general manager Harry Dalton acquired Don Sutton from Houston and watched the veteran right-hander win some key games as the team won the American League pennant.
