Tragedy strikes Tiffany (from Las Vegas Hooters)
Yesterday, OnMilwaukee.com ran a story about 22-year-old Tiffany Marciniak, a cocktail waitress at the Hooters Casino in Las Vegas who grew up in Milwaukee. Last evening, I received an e-mail from a friend of Marciniak's who said that she had been in a terrible car accident 10 days ago and was severely injured.

For anyone, moving from Milwaukee to Las Vegas would be culture shock. When Tiffany Marciniak did it in January 2006, having the same job -- even the same skimpy-meets-sporty uniform -- made the transition a little smoother.
