Return to glory for City Hall
When it was built in 1893, Milwaukee's City Hall stood as a testament to the city's emerging status as a major metropolis. But after 100 years of wind, rain, snow, ice and other effects of time, the landmark needed some major attention. Three years after a massive renovation project began, the scaffolding was taken down, the restored clock was lit and the famous bell sounded once again.

City Hall's clock is ticking and it's getting lights
The clock atop Milwaukee's City Hall has returned to active duty, ticking its way to the correct time. We've also learned that the building will be fully lit at night and there's a big ceremony on Thursday to celebrate its rebirth.
