Sometimes, it's surprising when a local business shuts down. Not many, for instance, expected Heinemann's to go out of business so abruptly. Other times, it's not surprising at all. So who's the next to go? Here are some ideas.

Circuit City is bankrupt? Duh.
So Circuit City has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Earlier this month, the electronics chain said it would close 155 stores and lay off 17 percent of its employees. This is about the least surprising news I've heard all year.
