Venturi's Market preps homestyle meals at family style prices
Opening 12 years ago and expanding into a second storefront three years later, Venturi's Market is tucked away on the 7200 block of W. North Avenue, sandwiched by Snap Fitness and Chinese Pagoda restaurant. The café and deli originally opened with Italian flavors in mind but over the years, they've expanded to carry fresh meats and cheeses, specialty canned and packaged goods along with made-from scratch deli items of all sorts.

Food is our focus right now as October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, but really, when aren't we thinking about food? I've recently entered the world of wedding planning and, right off the bat, the catering has quickly become the No. 1 issue.
