Brewers pick Seid for scouting director position
The Brewers introduced Bruce Seid (pronounced "side") as their director of amateur scouting and promoted Ray Montgomery to assistant director. Seid, 46, who has worked in the Brewers scouting department for 11 seasons, replaces Jack Zduriencik, who left to become general manager in Seattle.
