Local mom manages cancer with optimism, honesty
Like most moms, Laura Stratte has a lot on her plate. She has a husband, two small children and she recently completed nursing school. However, on top of it all, Stratte was diagnosed with breast cancer. Recently, OnMilwaukee.com chatted with her to discover what it's like to talk to kids about cancer, undergo chemotherapy and remain optimistic.
