Saturday Scorecard: Jeffress has control issue
Brewers pitching prospect Jeremy Jeffress, a first-round draft pick in 2006, was demoted from Class AA Huntsville to Class A Brevard County this season because he couldn't control his fastball. Unfortunately for Jeffress and the Brewers, his control problems don't end on the field. Jeffress, a first-round draft pick in 2006, will face a 100-game suspension for failing a second test for "a drug of abuse."
