5K, redux
Unlike my previous 5K race in July, which also happened to be my first, I felt prepared as could be this morning. Even though I only decided a few days ago to run in the 5K portion of the Lake Country Half Marathon in Oconomowoc, this time my training was neither rushed nor ill-advised.

From the couch to 5K in one week
Exactly one year ago, OnMilwaukee.com publisher Andy Tarnoff watched FM 102.1's Jon Adler emcee the Storm the Bastille race to kick off my favorite French-themed Downtown festival. Some of my trail mates have ten or 20 times the amount of marathons under their fuel belts than I do.

Is Spinning still popular?
From the beginning, some predicted the indoor cycling class was destined to follow the Ab Roller to wherever fitness fads go to die, but others believed Spinning was undeniably here to stay. More than a half-decade later, OMC asks: Is Spinning still popular in Milwaukee?
