Museum welcomes Skyberg's "Snickeyfritz"
Local artist and writer Andrea Skyberg introduces her new book, "Snickeyfritz," on Dec. 29 and Jan. 3 at the Milwaukee Public Museum during a drop-in workshop from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Skyberg created life-sized characters out of masking tape and photographed them for the book's art.

Getting coal for Christmas might not be so bad
The Milwaukee Public Museum's "Titanic" exhibition is offering up real pieces of coal from the legendary ship that came to its untimely end in 1912. Available in the museum's gift shop, the coal gifts range in price from $14.99 to $349.99, and come in loose pieces, jewelry and large chunks framed in a shadow box.
