Interview with a clown
Arguably, we've interviewed a lot of clowns over the years (ba dum dum), but this is the first time a real, floppy-footed, red nosed, magic-makin' clown is the subject of an OnMilwaukee.com interview. Meet Jamie Ansley -- aka "Funnywinks" -- a Milwaukee-based birthday party clown who's not creepy at all. In fact, she's down-right adorable.

How quickly they learn
When my sons were no longer toddlers, I was excited about their abilities to draw cute stick figures of the family and other Crayola masterpieces that I would cherish for life. I didn't realize I needed cold, hard cash to buy these memories.

Wisconsin sites offer fun and education
With the price of gas going through the roof, your economic stimulus check might not be enough to convince you to vacation outside the Badger State this summer. However, in addition to its many natural charms, Wisconsin also offers some fun family destinations that are also educational.

Five suggestions for a successful vacation with toddler
I'm no expert on child care or on what kids love most, but I recently had about a week off, which I spent pretty much alone with my wee one and partly due to good planning, partly due to good weather, partly due to luck and partly due to his good nature, the string of days was a success.
