Night Ranger, Cracker join State Fair music lineup
Wisconsin State Fair officials announced the lineup for the Cousins Subs Amphitheater today and it features Abba (a tribute, anyway), Asia, bodybuilders, Blue Oyster Cult, Cracker and Night Ranger.

Long-awaited Sparklehorse disc has Wisconsin ties
The fourth Sparklehorse record -- "Dreamt for Lightyears in the Belly of a Mountain -- is nearly upon us. The disc, produced by Mark Linkous (aka Sparklehorse) at his home studio, was engineered by former Milwaukeean Alan Weatherhead. And it was mixed, in part, at Madison's Smart Studios.
