Everybody is spending so much time trying to save money these days that they might forget how important it is to carry it. That's where the Slim Clip (pictured) comes into play. The "As Seen on TV" staple was a topic of conversation in the editorial office this week, along with tasty organic wine, a delicious pizza, a great new CD from a trusty old band, a favorite new seafood dish and other nuggets.

Long-awaited Sparklehorse disc has Wisconsin ties
The fourth Sparklehorse record -- "Dreamt for Lightyears in the Belly of a Mountain -- is nearly upon us. The disc, produced by Mark Linkous (aka Sparklehorse) at his home studio, was engineered by former Milwaukeean Alan Weatherhead. And it was mixed, in part, at Madison's Smart Studios.

I'll take the Ice Age and a Packers win.
I'd rather see the Packers lose to Favre so I can stay warm.
