Rapid review: Yen Ching
Back in the day, hungry North Shore diners would think nothing of taking the short trek to 76th Street and Good Hope Road for a good meal. But as dining options in the area thinned, only Yen Ching still packs 'em in, with outstanding Chinese cuisine than stands the test of time.

Milwaukee is ban-zai for bonsai
The Milwaukee Bonsai Society has about 180 members and some of them, like club president Jack Douthitt, own more than 100 of the tiny trees. Bonsai and bonsai workshops, although very popular, are available at only a few places in the city.
