In his first game back since injuring his leg two weeks ago, Andrew Bogut led the Bucks to a 99-97 victory over the Bulls. Bogut had 22 points, 5 rebounds -- and two crucial, final-minute blocks -- in 34 minutes of work Monday at the Bradley Center.

Saturday Scorecard: Did you hear about the Bucks?
Five games is a small sample and nobody is printing playoff tickets yet, but the Bucks are taking steps toward winning back fans and creating buzz. The play of rookie point guard Brandon Jennings (foreground) has been impressive, Andrew Bogut (above) looks healthy and second-round pick Jodie Meeks joined forces with both during a blowout victory over the Knicks on Saturday.

Bucks land pair of guards
Most expected John Hammond to use the 10th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft on a point guard. Few, though, thought the Bucks general manager would use that pick on Brandon Jennings, a 19-year-old that spent last season playing professionally in Spain.

Saturday Scorecard: Bogut gets the green light
While the rest of the National Basketball Association focuses on what has been an exciting start to the playoff marathon, the Bucks are preparing for yet another draft lottery and trying to figure out ways to avoid being in it again next year. On Saturday, though, there was a ray of good news: Andrew Bogut, who missed most of last year with a back injury, has been cleared to being working out.

Bucks' Bogut makes a plea to help bushfire victims
Andrew Bogut, who splits time between Milwaukee and his native Australia, is hoping one "hometown" can help the other. Bogut is hosting a charity reception and auction to benefit individuals and communities affected by the Victorian bushfires that swept through Australia earlier this year. The Victoria Bushfire Appeal Charity Night will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Woodland Dreams Ballroom.

Bucks' injury bug elicits sympathy for the bedeviled
Though injuries to key players like Michael Redd, Andrew Bogut and Luke Ridnour have put a serious dent in the Bucks' post-season aspirations, head coach Scott Skiles and general manager John Hammond aren't looking for sympathy. The tough thing about the setbacks is the timing. Not only were the Bucks seemingly headed in the right direction, they need to build momentum for a much-needed new facility.

With Redd out for the year, Bucks turn to Plan B
Losing Michael Redd -- and his 21.2 points per game -- was a big blow for a Bucks team clinging to the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. With a trade unlikely, it will be up to his teammates to pick up the slack in order to make it to the post-season. Luckily for them, they've been down this road before.

Milwaukee Talks: Bucks center Andrew Bogut
Bucks' center Andrew Bogut's business is basketball. While the rigorous 82-game National Basketball Association season does not leave a lot of time for hobbies, it helps that one of Bogut's off-court interests is the business of basketball. That was especially evident earlier this month, when he made a personal donation to help a pro team in his native Australia. We talked to Bogut late last week about his interest in the business of basketball.

Saturday Scorecard: March Sadness in Motown
There is no such thing as a satisfying finish when your team loses before the Final Four, but it's hard to imagine a more demoralizing finish than the one Wisconsin met in Detroit.

Reader poll
Would you rather suffer through a December of sub-zero temperatures and blizzards or a first-round playoff loss at the hands of Brett Favre?
I'll take the Ice Age and a Packers win.
I'd rather see the Packers lose to Favre so I can stay warm.
This is like choosing the least painful way to die.
