For the first time ever there will be free parking at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Parking Structure and surface lot for the Milwaukee Admirals game tonight at 7 p.m. In addition, there will be free hot chocolate and coffee for all fans and the ticket windows in the inner lobby at the Potawatomi Gate.

Resilient Bella Caffe simmers with success

When Tim Talsky opened Bella Caffe, 189 N. Milwaukee St., in 2001 it was the first and only coffee house in the neighborhood. The focus for the first few years was to serve good coffee and homemade desserts to theater-goers after performances. Over time, Bella's concept changed to the breakfast-and-lunch destination it is today. Talsky also co-owns The Soup Market restaurants.

Colectivo barista brews up first place at regional barista finals

Colectivo barista Josh Wismans won first place in the 2014 North Central Regional Barista Competition (NCRBC), which was held in Minneapolis on the last weekend of October. This win qualifies him for a first round bye in the U.S. Barista Championships in Seattle next April.

Marquee Downtown corner needs new tenant

Radio Doctors was sold and closed in 1991. Today, the lower level space that once occupied Radio Doctors is available. Avis recently closed its location there so the vacant corner is calling out for a new tenant.
