Fritz finds musical spark at home in Milwaukee
Singer, songwriter and accomplished cellist Anna Fritz -- born and raised in Milwaukee and currently living in Portland, Ore. -- left a number of years ago but keeps coming back to make her music. For example, her first solo CD, "Wake," was recorded with Mike Hoffmann and a host of Milwaukee musicians.

Intimate Annavox talks music and Milwaukee ties
Anna Fritz is a Milwaukee native that studied classical cello at UW-Madison before moving out to the Pacific Northwest, where she hooked up David Gerritsen and David Waingarten to form Annavox, an unusual trio that uses two guitars, cello and voice to create passionate, intimate music. Fritz returns home for a gig this week with Annavox.
