The University of Wisconsin marching band was reinstated from suspension and is permitted to perform at the Badgers' home game against No. 6 Penn State. Longtime director Michael Leckrone banned the band for a nationally televised game against Ohio State last weekend because allegations of hazing surfaced during a recent trip to Michigan.

Reflections from a super-sad Sunday in sports
While Prince Fielder and the Brewers watched an encouraging season sputter to a close with a loss to Philadelphia Sunday at Miller Park, the underdog Atlanta Falcons ran over and around the Packers, who suffered their third straight loss. The only thing that could have made things worse for local sports viewers was getting ptomaine poisoning from the ham and cheese sandwich.
