Deal with Brewers paying off for Timber Rattlers
The Brewers are sure to be a hot ticket again this summer, especially with nearly 2 million tickets already sold. But fans looking to avoid the expense, the hassle and the crowds don't have to go far to get their baseball fix -- and get a glimpse of the Brewers' future -- thanks to the teams recent agreement with the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, who play just two hours north in Appleton.

Yankees' excess makes it easy to root against them
The baseball season is almost upon us, and sports columnist Dave Begel is fixated on two things. One is that the Brewers surprise us all by being good again.
