Gig round-up: Chelsea Hotel sets perfect scene for Fever Marlene
Leave it to Fever Marlene, perhaps Milwaukee's best band at the moment, to take an unusual approach to its second disc. If fans expect "White China," which is officially released next week, to be more of the same, they will be sorely disappointed.

The Vox bar closes temporarily for remodeling
Without warning, The Vox bar, 2203 N. Prospect Ave., shut its doors Monday, July 11, though not for good. Jon Vincent, owner of The Vox, says that the closing is only temporary.
