Grade A service is Carnevor's prime cut
Carnevor, 724 N. Milwaukee St., is a cavernous, dark and very trendy and modern restaurant which features a menu filled with carnivorous entrées and an equally substantial wine and specialty drink list for the nightlife see-and-be-seen crowd. Two recent visits left us wanting more from the restaurant.

Owner shakes off Sake Tumi to focus on Carnevor
In February 2002, Omar Shaikh set out to challenge and change dining in Milwaukee with the creation of Sake Tumi, 714 N. Milwaukee St. On Tuesday, Shaikh left the business to focus on his other restaurant, Carnevor.

Carnevor raises the stakes on Milwaukee Street
Carnevore won't be your father's steakhouse when it opens in December. Say good-bye to your typical notion of what a steakhouse looks and feels like. The restaurant, for a start, will be owned by a group of businessmen with a lot already at stake on Milwaukee Street.

Eve nightclub/restaurant loses its virginity
After three years of undefiled white décor, Eve is "eve-olving" into a carnal redesign. The nightclub/restaurant closed early Sunday morning and will reopen on June 4 with a deliciously domineering new look.
