UGC's sound is mix of many tastes
Upside Groove Coalition's bassist, Steve Tycz, describes the band's music as "modern rock flavored with funk, jazz and soul," but after listening to their demo, it seems samba and New Orleans blues are undeniable influences as well. The band will release their first CD this Saturday night at the Ale House.
