Beastie Boys swing into Milwaukee
The Beastie Boys have announced selected tour dates, with special guests, in election battleground states. A Sunday, Nov. 2 show at the U.S. Cellular is one of the first three shows announced today.

Tenacious D movie reigns supreme, mostly, finally
While Jack Black spent the last five years making crappy movies, the wave of momentum built up from release of the debut album from Tenacious D all but died out. So for fans of the D, "The Pick of Destiny" arrives with great anticipation and surprise that it actually got made.

"School of Rock" a safe way to teach kids about Jack Black
Jack Black's new "The School of Rock" is funny, but not hilarious. Fortunately for the kids, it's also swear-free, which is quite a departure from the normal antics of the raunchy Tenacious D frontman.

Even half of Tenacious D can't save "Orange County"
With a stellar cast that includes Jack Black, Kevin Kline and Chevy Chase, "Orange County" is at best a major letdown. With plenty of stale gross-out jokes and teen movie cliches, it's a waste of everyone's talents.
