Water Street has upgraded. It's out with Sweeny's and in with Six Degrees. Though the structure stands exactly as it has for years, you'd hardly recognize the place as the dive it used to be.

Music - Nov. 7, 2005
Porter plans tours and a new CD next year
Willy Porter kicks off his fall East Coast tour Nov. 8 at Joe's Pub in New York. More gigs follow through the end of the year and then the Milwaukee singer/songwriter hits the studio to record his next disc, due out by summer.
