Salt Creek's music proves rules are made to be broken
While you might get away with labeling Milwaukee's Salt Creek a bluegrass-influenced band, purists might not agree. But that's just fine with the band. As the new "Live" CD (ITMFA Records) proves, this is a band that lives for the moment and values the tightrope artistry of improvisation.

Milwaukee's had Exotics, why not Tropics, too?
One of Milwaukee's most interesting bands at the moment isn't really a band at all. The Tropics are an on-again/off-again project of Recycled Future drummer Erik Radloff and bassist Todd Richards, joined by guests like Old Man Malcolm and Def Harmonic's Jason Todd.

Milwaukee Talks: Paul Amitai
Paul Amitai has long been a part of Milwaukee's music and arts scenes. He was lead singer of the popular ska band The Pacers and has since become one of the city's most adventurous musicians. He's also an accomplished visual artist. We recently caught up with Amitai to see what he's been up to.
