We talked to drummer Dan Didier, who still plays with von Bohlen in Maritime, about the impetus for this latest reunion and whether or not it's a sign the band is considering a permanent future together.

While most of us were cozied up safely indoors during the blizzard that dumped heaps of snow on us in early February, Milwaukee indie rockers Maritime were out filming a music video which premiered today on music mag Spin's website.

With all four members of the band starting or expanding their young families, it took Maritime four years since 2007's "Heresy and the Hotel Choir" was released to finish their latest record "Human Hearts." The result of the wait is 10 songs of laid back hook-heavy indie-pop that stands as some of the band's best work to date.

It started as something of a lark, and the band’s name may signal an end, but The Farewell Circuit is ready to say hello again to Milwaukee after a year in the Twin Cities.
