Mimma's celebrates 20 years
Girolama "Mimma" Megna is no secret in Milwaukee. The East Side restaurant that bears her name, 1307 E. Brady St., is nearly legendary, as is its owner. Mimma's celebrates 20 years in business and so we decided it was high time we talked to Megna about herself and her restaurant.

Pipito salutes Porticello with new restaurant
Tony Pipito, owner of Mama's Italian Cuisine and the attached Papa's Social Club at 7712-18 W. Burleigh St., will open a new Italian restaurant in Oconomowoc this fall. Porticello, named for the Sicilian town of his forebears, will be managed by his son, Steve.
