Of Montreal returns to Milwaukee with new record
Of Montreal releases its ninth album, "Skeletal Lamping" (Polyvinyl), on Oct. 7 and hits the road shortly thereafter. Expect Barnes and crew to bring their "avant-disco" to Milwaukee's Pabst Theater Sunday, Oct. 26.

"Interesting pop record" draws attention to Milwaukee's Decibully
When Decibully guitarist/singer William Seidel urges you to call the band's new record, "an interesting pop record," it's hard to argue. That's because "Sing Out America," the band's third full-length CD, is just that.

Taking Decibully by the horns
Milwaukee's Decibully has a clever name, but the music is much deeper, with an overall sound that's like a lonely marriage of Mazzy Star and Wilco. The band is currently touring in Canada.
