Modern day blacksmith crafts a bit of his own Milwaukee history
Kent Knapp is modern-day blacksmith with a passion for the craft of the past and as a 34-year-old, he makes his living bending and shaping iron from his forge, Ornamental Ironworks, on the west end of the Blackhawk's Antique Market on the South Side.

Pabst Mansion getting a facelift
To bring back the "Grand House on a Grand Avenue," the Pabst Mansion, 2000 W. Wisconsin Ave., is launching the Serpents & Spires Capital Campaign to raise the necessary funds for extensive exterior restoration work. The restoration is the first part of a two-phase project on the Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion.
