Ponderous "Northfork" is too obtuse
Director Michael Polish ("Twin Falls Idaho," "Jackpot") got the urge to play the poor man's David Lynch and at that point, his grey film becomes a multi-hued mess of hackneyed surrealism and lame one-liners.
