Benka rewrites the Constitution
Jen Benka, a Milwaukee native now living in New York City, took the preamble to higher creative ground, and recently published a collection of 52 poems, one for each word in the preamble in an effort to "examine, expose, and rewrite the document one word at a time."

A cover-to-cover band: a few lines about the Paragraphs
The Paragraphs are a Milwaukee band, though they don't all necessarily think so. "I don't think of this as a band," said drummer Stephen Wetzel. Bassist Didier Leplae disagreed. "It feels like a band to me," he said. Nicholas Frank scans the Paragraphs for clarification.

Hermetic Gallery: What is it?
The Hermetic Gallery was started in 1994 after its director Nicholas Frank moved back here from New York. Located at 226 S. 1st St., Hermetic hosts between five or six exhibitions annually, featuring the work of both national and international artists.
