Luchetti film wins audience nod at Italian Film Festival
"Mio fratello è figlio unico" (My Brother is an Only Child) by Daniele Luchetti, was the top vote-getter among attendees at the second annual Milwaukee Italian Film Festival, held on March 8-9 at UWM's Union Theater.

Milwaukee gets first Italian Film Festival
The first annual Italian Film Festival in Milwaukee -- sponsored by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Chicago and the National Italian American Foundation -- will premiere three Italian films at Marquette’s Varsity Theater on May 22-24. Admission to all screenings is free.

Scottoline mystery involves "secret" story of WWII internees
Just weeks after "Una Storia Segreta," the exhibit about the internment of Italian Americans during WWII, closed here, Lisa Scottoline arrives to read from her novel, "Killer Smile," which touches on the same subject.
