Meghan Coffey is a lot like any other ambitious 22-year-old. After receiving her bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Marquette University this past spring, she's focused on the rest of her life. But first, she's going to try to be Miss America.

After being one of 52 of the nation's leading ladies, Miss Wisconsin Tracy Gest isn't too upset at coming home without the Miss America crown. "The competition is extremely tough," Gest says. "They have the quote, 'best of the best from the nation.' I knew it would be challenging."
