Garibaldi duo buys Bay View building
Strehlow's Hardware, a Bay View institution at 2675 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., will close in coming weeks. Owner Jim Lehmann has sold the property to Joe Dean and Tag Grotelueschen, who run the tavern at Club Garibaldi.

Cactus Club faces off with neighbors over renovation
There's a battle raging in Bay View these days and it's about to reach Downtown on Tuesday. That's when Eric Uecke, owner of the Cactus Club, faces a city committee to seek approval for alterations to the Bay View tavern and indie rock club. Some neighbors and Ald. Tony Zielinski oppose the plan.
