Gig roundup: Phalen fetes Midwestern music
In July 2007, Will Phalen and the Stereo Addicts held the first Midwestern Folk Rock Revival here in Brew City. On Saturday, Sept. 20, the group hosts the second installment of what now appears to be an annual event.

The Profits puts pans behind them and surge forward with new CD
The Madison rockers, who play at UWM next week, didn't let some negative feedback about their first disc get them down. No, they set to work to create a second disc, "Far From You and Your Everyday Noise," that is beyond reproach.
