Marcus arrangement, tax break aimed at luring filmmakers
As first reported on OnMilwaukee.com last week, Marcus Theatres announced Friday that it will guarantee screenings of feature films made in the state in its cinemas. The arrangement hopes to bring filmmakers to Wisconsin.

Film Wisconsin bill proposes viable in-state film industry

New group hopes to fill gap left by demise of Film Office
As the state has dropped funding for the Wisconsin Film Office, a group of industry professionals has stepped up to create the Wisconsin Film Board, which hopes to lure filmmakers to the state with tax breaks and other incentives.
