Style wins over substance in stunning "Waking Life"
Don't believe the hype. There's no denying the visual beauty of "Waking Life," but it's all for nothing considering the lack of a story and a general incoherence. The philosophical ramblings aren't as deep as the filmmakers think they are, and they go in one ear and out the other.
