My call liquor and dessert rant
I seem to be on a service rampage as of late, but my last two months of dining have been riddled with enough poor service to make me want to stay home to eat. We have all experienced the let down when you have had an excellent meal, you want a little something to finish a fine evening and there it is, sitting in front of you the dessert menu, a creme' brulee, a dense chocolate something, perhaps a bread pudding or cheesecake, perhaps an ice cream. ...

Reader poll
Would you rather suffer through a December of sub-zero temperatures and blizzards or a first-round playoff loss at the hands of Brett Favre?
I'll take the Ice Age and a Packers win.
I'd rather see the Packers lose to Favre so I can stay warm.
This is like choosing the least painful way to die.
