Summerfest Picks: Drew Olson
For some Milwaukeeans, bashing the music lineup at Summerfest is as much a part of summer as beer, brats and Bob Uecker. With a minimum amount of effort, though, you can find acts that fit your tastes. The Dropkick Murphys and bass player Ken Casey (pictured) will bring incredible energy to their show June 26 at the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse and Elvis Costello will bring the Big Gig to a regal finish with a closing-night show at the Classic Rock Stage.

Although Bob Schneider was the great, underrated drummer for Semi-Twang and The R&B Cadets -- among other local bands -- he's not the Bob Schneider headlining Shank Hall on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. This Schneider is well known to fans of alternative Americana folk-rock for the eight full-length discs that have helped him nab numerous Austin Songwriter of the Year awards.

The ever-prolific Bright Eyes hits the road again, kicking off a mini three-week tour tomorrow in L.A., followed by a brief jaunt across the pond. His return to the States finds him and his band here in Milwaukee on Sunday, April 22 at The Pabst Theater.
