Mimma's celebrates 20 years
Girolama "Mimma" Megna is no secret in Milwaukee. The East Side restaurant that bears her name, 1307 E. Brady St., is nearly legendary, as is its owner. Mimma's celebrates 20 years in business and so we decided it was high time we talked to Megna about herself and her restaurant.

Coco Bella is shuttered
Coca Bella, 1323 E. Brady St., closed quietly about a month ago. A drive past reveals a dark restaurant and the phone has been disconnected.

Vucciria becomes Coco Bella
The Vucciria sign came down recently, and the new awning with the name "Coco Bella" should be up in about a week, says Maria Megna, whose parents, Mimma and Joe Megna, own the restaurant at 1323 E. Brady St.
