Edgar's Calypso is a dream come true for Dillon
"I was 24 years old when I went to Jamaica; it was the first vacation of my life, and ever since then I have always wanted to open a Caribbean restaurant," says Michael Dillon, a local graphic design company proprietor and owner of the soon-to-open Edgar's Calypso Caribbean restaurant.

Good Life equals good music
On my first visit to Good Life, I enjoyed the food. But even more, I enjoyed going to a Caribbean-themed business that didn't feature tie-dyed-looking murals featuring Bob Marley's face and the whole schlocky, cynical exploitation of the departed superstar. Even better, there was not a hint of Buffett anywhere!!

Caribbean themed The Good Life arrives on the East Side
Milwaukee’s condo boom has brought with it a lot of new retail and restaurant space, which in turn, has provided a barrage of new openings in the past 180 months. The Good Life has joined the ranks of some of the area's better additions.
