Local mom manages cancer with optimism, honesty
Like most moms, Laura Stratte has a lot on her plate. She has a husband, two small children and she recently completed nursing school. However, on top of it all, Stratte was diagnosed with breast cancer. New program helps kids process cancer
Kids Support is a new program that provides age-appropriate activities and information to help kids between the ages of 4 and 12 who have a family member or friend with the illness. The free sessions start on Wednesday, April 29 at Children's Hospital.
