Fountains of Wayne keep quiet at Turner on July 11
Even though bassist Adam Schlesinger is busy with his band Tinted Windows -- with Cheap Trick's Bun E. Carlos and Smashing Pumpkins James Iha -- Fountains of Wayne is hitting the road for a full-band acoustic tour this summer. New Jersey's finest pop squad stops at Turner Hall Ballroom as part of that 11-city tour. FOW arrives here on Saturday, July 11.

Sleighriders ready to spread holiday cheer at Shank
Milwaukee's holiday supergroup The Sleighriders performs its 26th annual show Monday night at Shank Hall. The event, a fundraiser for SafeZone Community Arts Center, is a week early this year in order to avoid a conflict with the Packers-Bears game the following week on "Monday Night Football."
