50 years later, Logan still a sparkplug for Braves

Corporate support is needed to celebrate the Braves' anniversary
Every 25 years or so, the baseball gods throw a bone to Milwaukee. Or so it would seem. Fifty years ago, the 1957 Milwaukee Braves won the World Series. Twenty-five years ago, the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers went to their only World Series, but came up one game short of a world championship.

Association aims to keep Braves memories alive
Although many of us are too young to remember the glory days of the Milwaukee Braves -- or the heartbreak of their departure -- this city still harbors a deep-set love for Aaron, Spahn, Logan, Mathews and the rest of the gang. Now, the Milwaukee Braves Historical Association has formed to ensure that love endures.
